Larry 's 60' Ranchero
...
I found this 1960 Ranchero in Tulsa,Oklahoma in 1987, where it had been sitting in a field for 10 years. $900.00 dollars later it was in my driveway, with only two little rust holes in it. Once I got started, it really didn't take me long to get it stripped down to metal and get the restoration started. I put everything back to factory origional condition. I kept the 144 cubic inch straight six, three on the tree, and even the vacuum operated windshield wipers. Which still work. It has been over 20 years and the oil pan has never been off, or the motor been overhauled. We take Lucinda (a mannequin) with us to the car shows, and she gets more attention than my Ranchero. But it's all for fun.
